To the TABOR II protesters…
Filed Under Non-Fiction, Politics, Social Commentary, Uncategorized | 2 Comments
Dear TABOR II protester woman I just heard on the radio,
You just said that you are from Colorado (the only other state that has a TABOR) and that it doesn’t work there. The reason that you cited is because you have “groups” that are at odds with each other and they shouldn’t be. They are [...]

Question One

Vote yes on question one and lets continue to discriminate against those not exactly like us! In fact, I think that next year we should work towards revoking other rights given to those dirty minorities that we didn’t get a chance to vote on! Slavery here we come! You Somalis didn’t think that we welcomed [...]

Here is his story via NPR: [...]

I know I haven’t written much lately but I just wanted to mention something that I heard on the radio today. I was listening to the only local AM talk radio show and a commercial came on for Dino Furs. Blah blah blah about furs…everyone knows how I feel about wearing dead animal carcasses as [...]

The Randomness of Nothing At All

Nothing to say.
At least, that’s what you would think of me for the last six months or so. In reality I’ve had plenty to say, I’ve simply had far too little time to say it. So, while I’ve got some free time right now, I think I’ll pour my mind out in somewhat of a [...]

Farm Subsidies
Filed Under Politics, Reading Suggestions, Social Commentary, Uncategorized | Leave a Comment
I’ve never been a fan of U.S. farm subsidies. The idea of paying farmers to grow or not grow certain crops has always seemed directly contradictory to a capitalist economy but now I have even more of a reason to oppose these subsidies.
Here is a really great article from the New York Times that [...]
